Queen Mary has dazzled onlookers at a gala royal event, kicking up her heels with King Frederik as they danced the night away.
The Australian-born royal looked stunning in a pink sequined dress, embellished with clear crystals, as she arrived at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen for the event, which was a celebration of Danish arts and culture.
Mary and Frederik were all smiles as they hit the dance floor in the opulent Knight Hall to take part in Les Lanciers, a traditional square dance that was popularised in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The loved-up pair appeared to step back in time as they participated in the courtly ritual, At one point, Queen Mary’s long brown hair flew wildly as Frederick twirled her around the dance floor.
The Tasmanian-born royal complimented her look with a stunning tiara and vintage earrings.
King Frederick looked suitably dapper in a tuxedo, smiling widely as he accompanied his wife.
Also in attendance was Queen Margrethe, who abdicated from the Danish throne in January 2024, handing the throne to her eldest son.
