Prince William and Princess Catherine have shared photos of George, Charlotte and Louis in an emotive New Year message.
The photographs were taken this year and highlight the highs that triumphed the lows as the Princess of Wales battled cancer alongside other members of the Royal Family including King Charles and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
The royal couple posted the photos on X, with a note saying: “Happy New Year! Wishing you all a wonderful 2025.”
The collection photos included their family photo taken when Catherine shared an update about her cancer journey in September saying she had finished treatment.
The video made global headlines and broke with royal tradition as we saw the entire family in a more intimate way than ever before.
“It’s the most intimate we have ever seen the Wales family,” NBC News royal contributor Emily Nash said at the time.
“And what really stood out was the public displays of affection, which William and Kate are not particularly well known for.”
There was also the backstage photos of William, Prince George and Charlotte in June earlier this year when they went to the Taylor Swift concert and took a selfie together.
The couple shared a photo of Catherine embracing Liz Hatton, 16, who has an aggressive form of cancer during an investiture at Windsor Castle.
Liz, a budding photographer from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, had been told she had between six months and three years to live.
Prince William and Catherine, who herself is a keen photographer, said the young girl had inspired them both.
The photo of William and Catherine speaking with members of the emergency services during a visit to Southport Community Centre marked the Princess’s first public engagement with her husband since her cancer diagnosis. They were supporting the community of Southport after the knife attack that took place in the area on July 29.
Another photo was from January, when Prince William met Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow, as well as the motor neurone disease campaigner’s family.
William also led tributes to rugby league star Burrow following his death aged 41 earlier this year.
Princess Catherine’s Christmas concert also featured, where she led her family into Westminster Abbey and they sang carols at the service. It was her fourth ‘Together At Christmas’ carol service which was televised by ITV on Christmas Eve.
Other photos included the Trooping the Colour Parade where Princess Catherine made her return to public life on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
