Princess Kate has stepped back behind the camera, sharing a heartwarming photograph of her family for Father's Day.
Alongside the image, the royal children were able to make their first social media post about their parents.
The Princess of Wales took the image on the Norfolk coast, located near the Anmer Hall home where the family spent the Easter weekend.
The photo of the relaxing scene, which was shared on the royal couple’s Instagram page, shows Prince William alongside Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, all with their backs facing the camera while standing on the beach and looking out to sea.
While Charlotte places her arm around her father, Prince Louis and Prince George have theirs around each other in the sweet image. Meanwhile, William reaches his arms around all of his children.
In an extra surprise from the children, a message posted alongside the photo reads: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L”. They also included two heart emojis.
The new photo comes after the family stepped out for the King’s birthday parade yesterday.
It was Kate’s first official engagement in more than six months, as she continues her cancer treatment.
Kate, who last appeared publicly in an official capacity on Christmas Day, was seen smiling as they attended the Trooping in Colour military parade, which is held every June in honour of the sovereign’s birthday.
Thousands of fans lined the streets of Buckingham Palace, as she travelled in the Glass Coach with her family.
Trooping the Colour has been performed in celebration of the birthday of the British monarch for over 260 years. The grand parade includes more than 1400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians.
Kate released a statement on Friday about her cancer journey so far and her plans to re-enter public life.
“I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times,” Kate wrote.
“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”
“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.
“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.”
