Meghan Markle has been pictured cuddling up to a male pal, as a royal insider claimed the late Queen was once forced to intervene after the Duchess berated a staffer.

‘Important’: Meghan Markle opens up about miscarriage

Meghan Markle has been pictured cosying up to her favourite photographer as the pair shot new content to promote her As Ever lifestyle brand.

Dressed in a casual white shirt, the Duchess of Sussex smiled sweetly as she posed with Jake Rosenberg for the selfie, which the photographer proudly shared on Instagram.

Rosenberg, who has been friends with Meghan since her acting days on the TV series Suits, wrote: “Always a beautiful day shooting with @Meghan @AsEverOfficial.”

The New York-based snapper, who attended Meghan’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, is a trusted member of Team Sussex, with the Duchess tagging him in a carousel of pictures in early April, thanking him for his support of As Ever and for believing in her “creative vision since The Tig.”

It comes amid a shocking allegation of bullying, with a royal insider claiming that Meghan was once so rude to a gardener that the late Queen Elizabeth was forced to intervene.

Royal historian Hugh Vickers told The Sun he heard from “very good sources” there was “trouble” while Meghan and Harry were living at Frogmore Cottage between 2019 and March 2020.

He recalled a pre-Megxit incident where Meghan was “very rude” to one of the undergardeners at Windsor.

When the head gardener reported the matter to the late Queen, the monarch reprimanded Meghan, as she strongly disliked people being rude to staff.

“She probably is not very good with staff or people that she’s employing. It’s just very unattractive,” Mr Vickers added.

“You should always be very polite to people who work for you because otherwise they’re going to get very put out.”

Meghan and Harry have previously been accused of bullying and rude behaviour during their time as working royals.

Earlier this year, a Vanity Fair article reported that Meghan was initially “warm and effusive” with employees, but would turn “cold and withholding toward the person she perceived to be responsible” if something went wrong or did not meet her expectations.

In September 2024, an unnamed source told the Sunday Times that they witnessed “people being chewed up in person and over the phone and made to feel like s---”.

DATE SET FOR TRUMP TO MEET KING

Donald Trump said he expected to meet King Charles III in Britain in September, on an unprecedented second state visit that London hopes will boost transatlantic ties.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer handed the US President an invitation from the monarch during a meeting in the Oval Office in February as he tried to win over the US leader on tariffs and Ukraine.

“I think they’re setting a date for September,” Mr Trump told reporters.

“They’re going to do a second ‘fest.’ And that’s what it is, it’s a fest, and it’s beautiful, and it’s the first time it’s ever happened to one person,” added Mr Trump.

“I’m a friend of Charles. I have great respect for King Charles and the family, (heir to the throne Prince) William. We have just really a great respect for the family, and it’s a very great honour.”

Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper reported last Thursday that the royal family was set to host Mr Trump at Windsor Castle.

Mr Trump will become the first political leader to receive a second state visit to Britain, after he visited in 2019 during his first term as president.

The 78-year-old Republican has long been a vocal fan of the British royal family.

He also has a close affinity to the UK due to the fact his mother was born in Scotland, where he owns a golf course.
