Marvel star Jonathan Majors has reportedly been dropped by his Hollywood manager amid the fallout of his recent arrest on domestic violence charges.

Majors was arrested in New York City on March 25 over an alleged dispute with a 30-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck”, according to authorities.

He has denied the allegations.

Majors is currently in two blockbuster releases, Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He was set to appear as the main villain, Kang the Conqueror, in a raft of Marvel projects over the next few years. He’s also already completed filming on the second season of Loki.

The 33-year-old actor has now been dropped by longtime talent manager Entertainment 360, according to Deadline, with sources claiming it was due to issues with his “personal behaviour”.

It comes after PR firm the Lede Company also removed Majors as a client in the wake of the arrest, while the publication claims it was “mutually agreed” between he and fashion house Valentino that he would not attend the Met Gala as one of their guests this year.

However, Deadline reports that there have been “zero conversations” within Marvel about dropping him from the MCU.

Next month, he is expected to appear before a judge in New York City on multiple counts of harassment and assault.

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” Majors’ defence lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, told Deadline in March.

“We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District lawyer with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”

Ms Chaudhry said the “evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations”.
