Kyle Sandilands has celebrated his record-breaking new radio deal in a big way, splashing more than $13 million on a new home in Sydney.

The radio star and his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson re-signed with Australian Radio Network on Wednesday in a 10-year contract worth a combined $200 million.

Their new agreement will see Kyle and Jackie O Show expand into Melbourne from 2024, where current KIIS FM hosts Jason Hawkins and Lauren Phillips have been given the axe.

Ahead of signing his new contract live on-air Wednesday morning, Sandilands and his wife Tegan Kynaston purchased a Vaucluse mansion with Sydney Harbour views last Tuesday, two days before its scheduled auction date.

Realestate.com.au reports the property’s agency Ray White wouldn’t disclose the exact amount Sandilands offered, but that the house sold above its $13 million price guide.

Positioned on a large 1018sq m block, the two-storey home has views of Sydney’s iconic harbour, as well as four bedrooms, a pool and multiple living areas.

The publication reports Sandilands intends to renovate the home, which will be the couple’s primary residence during the work week.

Sandilands and Kynaston, who married in a lavish $1m wedding ceremony earlier this year and share one-year-old son Otto, also own a home in Sydney’s Hills district at Glenorie, which was purchased for $3m in July last year.

At the time, Sandilands claimed he hoped to build a Hampton-style holiday home on the acreage.

Currently, the couple are renting a home in Bellevue Hill for $8000 per week.

It comes as Sandilands stands to make double his previous income under his new agreement.

The shock jock has been making about $6m per year alongside Henderson since signing their previous contract in 2019, but the new deal will see them each earn more than $10m annually.

That amounts to more than $100,000 per week after tax.
