Stars talking about their sex lives has revealed a big problem

Celebs love talking about their sex lives but there’s a wild side effect of their saucy admissions that we need to start talking about immediately.

Shocking celebrity hook-ups you’d forgotten all about

Celebrities are always good at making us feel bad about ourselves, and one thing they’ve successfully done over the years is made us all feel like we aren’t having enough sex.

It isn’t their fault.

Who doesn’t want to embellish their sex life a little bit? We all want to sound like we are getting some and it is as satisfying as Meg Ryan pretending to have an orgasm in When Harry Met Sally.

Yet, often their sex life confessions can make everyone feel like their sexy time isn’t up to snuff.

Kyle Sandilands started off the day with a bang when he shared on his radio show that he and his new bride Tegan Kynaston enjoyed some wedding night sex.

“A lot of people are asking, ‘Did you consummate the marriage?’ You bet your a*se!” he shared.

Sandilands isn’t the first celebrity to brag about his sex life and I very much doubt he will be the last.

In fact, celebrities have a long history of boasting about their sex lives and it can make the rest of us feel inferior.

Rapper Travis Scott told Playboy that having children only increased his sex life with Kylie Jenner.

“A lot of people claim that having a baby can hurt your sex life, but I feel like that’s the opposite of our experience,” he said.

Jenner, of course agreed and added: “Definitely proven that rumour to be wrong.”

Don’t get too jealous, they’ve broken up now.

Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigan revealed to Cosmopolitan that she and her husband John Legend were firm members of the mile high club.

“We were under a blanket. We weren’t even in one of those pod things. I feel like we should get a trophy for that,” she shared.

Thoughts and prayers for the other passengers on that flight.

Jessica Simpson has called her husband Eric Johnson her “sexual shaman”.

If that wasn’t sexy enough news for you (and you are done googling what a sexual shaman is), Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are constantly showing off their PDA and Kardashian’s Instagram just looks like photos of their foreplay.

The reality star has hinted that Barker has a foot fetish and admitted they’ve been caught having sex somewhere outside the home.

I mean, sometimes it feels like an effort to have sex in bed! Let alone go on a excursion to get down and dirty.

Even single stars can unintentionally make you feel bad.

Influencer and ‘It’ girl Abbie Chatfield revealed on her podcast how many sexual partners she’s had.

“I think I’ve f#cked like 80 people,” she shared with the world.

It is all happening!

Stars have made it clear they are having lots of sex.

Celebrities love to brag or imply how often they throw a leg over.

Recently, singer Robbie Williams bucked the trend when he got very honest about his dwindling sex life.

The Independent reported that Williams, who is married to Ayda Field revealed that “everyone knows there’s no sex after marriage”.

He was quick to clarify that their sex life tends to ebb and flow but his answer was also refreshingly honest.

Robbie’s admission felt like a nice sexy circuit breaker because surely celebrities dishing on their saucy sex lives does make us regular folk feel bad?

Us mere mortals sometimes see our partners more like the reason the cupboard doors are never closed and less like sexual shamans.

Lovehoney’s sex and relationship therapist Christine Rafe explained that while celebrities dishing on their sex lives can be entertaining it is important to remember their experiences aren’t a reflection of everyone’s.

“Celebrities can create unrealistic expectations about sex and relationships, which can make people feel insecure and inadequate. It’s essential to remember that everyone’s sex life is unique and that there’s no right or wrong way to have sex,” she said.

Instead of wondering if you should be having as much sex as Kylie Jenner, Ms Rafe recommended tapping into your own sexuality.

“I encourage people to focus on their individual sexual desires and to avoid comparing themselves to others,” she said. “It’s also important to remember that celebrities are people too and that they often present a curated version of their lives to the public.”

So, is there a right amount of sex couples should be having? The simple answer is: No.

“Sexual frequency varies from person to person and couple to couple, and it’s essential to find a balance that works for both partners,” Ms Rafe said.

“The idea that there is a ‘correct’ amount of sex can be harmful and create unnecessary pressure in a relationship. The focus instead should be on the quality of the sex, and whether the couple are satisfied with the sex they are having.”

So, next time you read about all the hot sex a celebrity is having do yourself a favour and take it with a grain of lube.
