Nicholas Braun aka cousin Greg from Succession, has complained about the difficulties of having casual sex when you are famous.
Braun, 35, went on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert and the topic of Braun’s bachelor status came up.
The actor is known for being spotted around New York City constantly and, although he has been a working actor since he was a teenager, he only became a sex symbol when he landed his role as cousin Greg on the BINGE series.
Online Braun is often discussed on gossip celebrity Instagram accounts like Deuxmoi because people are obsessed with the fact he is often spotted with different women.
Shepard pushed for Braun to talk about his sex and dating life on the podcast but It was pretty clear Braun was reluctant to spill on the subject.
Braun’s reputation in a traditional sense would make him a playboy, a title famous men used to wear as a badge of honour but in our post #metoo world famous men are less keen to wear that kind of label.
It also became clear Braun was worried about saying the wrong thing when asked about his dating life – at some point he even excused himself for a bathroom break.
“I’ve seen it so many times when you say a thing and it gets snatched up in the internet culture. It is nice when a girl is looking at me, but I trust no stranger girl that I meet,” he explained.
Shepard on the other hand was very keen to discuss how famous men are being treated and seen in pop culture in 2023.
“There is this weird bent right now which like … being sexual is somehow predatorial and I f**king hate it,” Sheppard mused.
He wasn’t done there.
“In exploring all these different power dynamics that needed to be explored, it did put a whole haze over anyone just f**king, which is a lovely activity for single people to have,” he theorised.
Braun weighed in and said: “Yes people are f**king! They are out there and they are doing it but men can’t talk about what they did.”
He continued. “It is way better for men in general but for me as a person with a certain level of fame to just keep my mouth shout and never talk about it … because it is just this dance right now,” he said.

Shepard didn’t hold back and shared that he felt famous men were shamed now simply for dating and having fun.
“That guy’s a misogynist, he likes having sex with women, what an animal,” Shepard quipped.
“What a sicko!” Braun joked back.
Braun didn’t disagree with Shepard’s comments and he dived into the complexities of dating as a famous man, revealing he’d become increasingly “paranoid” about dating out of fear he’d just become a story for the girl to tell later.
“If you have a hook-up and maybe it’s weird or maybe it’s awkward, which is the nature of dating or hooking up. Two people are not always good for each other or the chemistry’s not always there and they kiss horribly. They don’t know how to touch each other or one’s really sweaty and they don’t care and at some point, one of them doesn’t want to be there anymore. That goes both ways,” he explained.
“I’m a man, trying to date a girl, and we are allowed to fail at it.”
