An Aussie actress has been spotted out in Sydney’s eastern suburbs but it is who she is with that is the interesting part.

Aussie star Kate Ritchie has been spotted out with her rumoured boyfriend in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Photos show the Nova radio host enjoying the afternoon sun in the popular beachside suburb of Coogee with Chevy Black, to whom she has been linked since March.

Ritchie, 44, looked chic in an oversized black smock while Black kept things casual in shorts and an oversized orange jumper. They were seen getting coffee before stopping to relax on a park bench.

While not much is known about Black, Woman’s Day magazine reported earlier this year that the pair had spent time getting to know each other in recent months, with the mum-of-one meeting her new beau’s family.

Ritchie is one of Australia’s most famous faces and became a household name after playing the character Sally Fletcher for two decades on long-running soap Home And Away.

She has since moved away from acting and forged a successful career in radio, where she can currently be heard as the third voice on Nova’s popular Sydney breakfast show Fitzy and Wippa.

Maintaining her low-key style, Ritchie has not confirmed or commented on the new relationship, even after photographers captured the star sharing a kiss with Black at the beach in March.

The new relationship comes after Ritchie’s nine-year marriage to former rugby player Stuart Webb, which ended in 2019.

Kate Ritchie is known for being private

Talking in 2017 about the rumours that surrounded her marriage, Ritchie said she’d learnt to block out the scrutiny.

“I think in the old days, it did (bother me). There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life,” she told Stellar.

After she parted ways with Webb, she dated security consultant John Bell, 17 years her junior, for a year.
