JoJo Siwa confesses she slid into Aussie star Rob Irwin’s Dms

The controversial child star has recently gone bad girl, and she started by trying her luck with an Aussie icon.

JoJo Siwa has confessed that she had a crush on Rob Irwin and it sparked her to slide into the Australian star’s DMs.

During an appearance on Brisbane’s B105 Breakfast show, Stav, Abby & Matt, Siwa revealed she developed a serious crush on Irwin in 2020.

The crush became so intense that she decided to slide into Irwin’s DMs, and to her surprise he actually responded to her.

“She was messaging Robert Irwin because she had a bit of a crush,” revealed host Abby Coleman on Wednesday’s show.

Siwa laughed, replying: “There was a point in time when I was like, ‘Wow, he’s really cute!’ I was really into him!”

However, the crush turned out to be rather short-lived confessed Siwa, who has recently sparked backlash with the release of her new single Karma.

“Then he finally responded to a DM and I was like, ‘Alright, I’m over it now,’” she admitted.

It comes after Siwa admitted to spending tens of thousands of dollars on a cosmetic procedure after saying she is “insecure.”

Just a year after crushing hard on Irwin, Siwa surprised fans when she came out as pansexual.

At the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards last month she was asked to name the most expensive thing she was wearing, to which she replied, “My teeth.”

“These motherf**kers cost me (US) 50 grand ($75k),” she said in the TikTok video, referring to her veneers.

Siwa, who recently underwent a major rebrand, previously shared that she was crippled by insecurity.

“I judge myself at everything. I’m a very insecure person,” she said while competing on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test last November.

“Everything gets judged. You know, people told me I have a receding hairline; they don’t know that I have a stress rash and that’s why I’m balding right here. A 12-year-old shouldn’t have a stress rash on their head that makes them bald, but I did.”

The former Dance Moms star appears to have overcome some of her fears, as she wore a Kiss-inspired look to the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards that left fans shocked because she had ditched her signature high ponytail.

“People are afraid of things they don’t know,” she told E! News on the red carpet. “Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary.”

Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, however, gave Siwa’s look his seal of approval.

“JoJo is cool. Anybody who doesn’t get it is just jealous, period,” Simmons, 74, told TMZ, adding, “Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary. JoJo is extraordinary, and she looks cool.”

The legendary rock performer acknowledged that Siwa’s black-and-white outfit bore similarities to his Kiss costumes, continuing, “Of course she looks like me, but that’s another story.”
