The 90s sitcom star has confirmed he is battling “a new cancer”, just months after announcing he beat lymphoma.

The Full House star shared his latest diagnosis on the Today show Tuesday, calling the news a “shock to the system.”
The actor, 66, clarified, “It’s totally unrelated to my non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This is a new cancer. I said, ‘Are you kidding me?’”

He noted that doctors “said it could stem from having an HPV virus up to 30 years ago,” which may have “activated and turned into a carcinoma.”
Coulier called his cancer “very treatable” with a “90 per cent curability rate.”
The star told viewers, “The doctor said the prognosis is good, but we’re going to start radiation immediately.”
The treatment, so far, has been “a whole different animal” than the chemotherapy he underwent last year.
“It doesn’t feel as aggressive, but there are still side effects,” Coulier said.
He shared his stage 3 lymphoma diagnosis on the Today show in November 2024 — and was declared cancer-free earlier this year.

Coulier received news of his remission the same day he became a grandfather, he told How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast listeners in April.
“It was an amazing day,” he gushed at the time.
Six months later, Coulier received his HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer diagnosis after he “had a PET scan and something flared on the scan.”
“The silver lining here is that I had cancer, which helped me detect my other cancer. It seems crazy to be making that statement, but it’s true,” he said on Tuesday — while still acknowledging the hardships of the “emotional” battle.
“It’s psychologically draining. It’s also a big drain to my wife, Melissa [Bring], which is the biggest drain on me, seeing how this affects her,” Coulier continued of the 42-year-old, whom he wed in July 2014.
The “cautiously optimistic” comedian insisted, “I’m going to get to the other side of this.”
The self-proclaimed “poster boy for cancer” added, “How the heck can I not take this moment to use my voice to say to people, ‘Hey, early detection saved my life, and now early detection saved my life again.’”
