Dominic Purcell debuts a whole new look

A famous Aussie celebrity looked unrecognisable as he popped into the service station.

No one could blame you for not being able to recognise Dominic Purcell, who has ditched his clean-shaven look and covered up his chiselled jawline with a bushy beard.

The 54-year-old Australian actor, best known for his roles in successful television shows like Prison Break and Legends of Tomorrow, was keeping it casual.

He looked like any other bloke as he filled up his tank at a service station, wearing a grey T-shirt, black pants, and a baseball cap.

The father of four has always lived a relatively private life despite his success, but that has changed ever since he married Miley Cyrus’s mum, Tish Cyrus.

The pair got married in 2023 at Miley’s Malibu home, and Vogue covered the Ceremony. The couple happily opened up about how they met.

Tish told Vogue that she slipped into the Prison Break star’s direct messages, and “the rest is history,” and that Dominic and Miley planned the whole wedding.

Their marriage came after Tish divorced Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, after three decades of marriage and shortly afterwards met Dominic in 2020.

Tish has been open about her marriage with Dominic on the podcast she hosts with her other daughter Brandi Cyrus, called Sorry We’re Stoned.

Tish admitted that she was “scared” when she met Dominic because he was a Taurus, and she was an Aquarius, and that doesn’t usually equal a good pairing.

She explained that she’s “easily offended” and “takes things personally,” while Dominic is “not emotional” and “blunt”, but despite their differences, it was working out.

Tish then explained that they’ve “grown” as a couple, and she’s learned not to take things so personally and to talk things through.

“I just feel like instead now of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations,” she explained.

In February 2024 Tish also went on the popular podcast Call Her Daddy, where she opened up even more about their love story and why her marriage with Billy Ray Cyrus finally ended.

She said the pair’s marriage started to fall apart during the pandemic when he stayed in Tennessee and she was in California.

“I think I did stay so long out of fear, literal fear of being alone. I met him when I was 23, 24,” she said.

She then explained how she messaged Dominic on Instagram, and he admitted he had a “crush” on her. The pair then decided to meet up.

“So we go to lunch and make out for like three hours,” she said.

Then Tish admitted that within days, they were telling each other “I love you” and that now she’s the happiest she’s ever been in years.

 “I am living my best life, and he is yummy. There is not one second where I don’t feel loved by him,” she said.
