Carrie Bickmore’s ex Chris Walker’s cryptic post with Tommy Little raises eyebrows

Carrie Bickmore’s ex has shared a bizarre photo on social media, in which he is seemingly fuelling dating rumours involving the former Project host.

Carrie Bickmore’s ex partner Chris Walker has raised eyebrows after posting a cryptic photo of the pair on social media.

The former The Project host and Walker, who is an executive producer for ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, announced their separation in January after 10 years together.

Unfounded rumours have swirled in the weeks since that Bickmore, 42, has been growing closer to her radio co-host Tommy Little, 38, and Walker has done little to quell such whispers after posting – and since deleting – a bizarre photo of the trio on Instagram.

The 2018 shot, which was a promotional photo for the Carrie & Tommy drive show, featured Walker caressing a then pregnant Bickmore (who was carrying the couple’s child, Adelaide), with Little standing behind them as a third wheel figure. Bickmore and Walker’s first child Evie was also in the shot, as well as Bickmore’s son, Oliver, who she welcomed with her late husband Greg Lange.

Walker didn’t provide a caption for the photo, leading many to wonder what he was implying by posting it publicly.

At the time the promo shot was released in late 2018, Little revealed on-air the concept for the campaign imagery was his idea.

news.com.au has approached Bickmore’s management for comment.

It’s been a period of change for Bickmore, who quit The Project in November before re-signing with the Hit Network alongside Little for another four years.

And in January, Walker and Bickmore took to Instagram to announce their shock split.

“Hi there. It’s with immense sadness that (Carrie/Chris) and I have decided to separate,” the pair wrote.

“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got. They are doing great.

“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”

Walker and Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, two years after Lange died of brain cancer.

He became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and in 2015, the couple welcomed their first child together – a daughter Evie. Three years later, they became parents once more with the arrival of another girl, Adelaide, in late 2018.

Early last year, Bickmore took an extended break from The Project desk to live in the UK with her family for a few months.

Their sabbatical was tainted by a horror Skype bungle involving Walker, where he accidentally revealed his genitalia to ABC co-workers during a meeting.

Walker reportedly stripped naked in front of stunned colleagues after he thought he’d left a video conference on May 17.

Up to nine staff members caught the gaffe, which reportedly saw Walker completely naked for between 40 seconds and two minutes.

Walker later explained he was merely undressing for a shower and had failed to disconnect from the meeting.
