“I have always wanted to be part of Buskers and now the opportunity has come along, we are all really excited about performing,” she said.
“The challenge for us will be getting used to the half pipe - at first I was worried about its stability but we have had a look at it and it will be fine.”

Being a mother of young two-year-old daughter, Emily has her hands full but has found that working with the girls in the skateboard crew has been a very rewarding expereince.
“We have littlies as young as four right through to women around 50 - skateboarding is a sport for everyone and we are looking forward to showing what we can do,” Emily said.
As for the Buskers performances, Emily already has her mind set on what she wants to try and achieve.
“I would love to be able to do a front side 360 - and not end up in the creek. But I think if I do, the crowd will love that as well.”
Each year Buskers adopts a theme and this year’s theme is Loveland with a distinct influence from the retro era of the psychedelic times of the 1960s.
Once again, the festival is proving to be a magnet for buskers from around Australia and the world with more than 300 artists on the program.
