It is understood some crew are staying at Broadbeach apartment building.
Filming of the Elvis biopic was shutdown in mid-March after Hollywood star Tom Hanks - who is playing Colonel Tom Parker - contracted coronavirus.
Hanks was kept in isolation at the Gold Coast University Hospital with his wife Rita Wilson, who also tested positive to coronavirus while in the city, before returning back to Los Angeles in late March.
There is no word when or if Hanks will return to the Gold Coast for the production yet.
