LOGIE nominees are to be announced at a lavish event at the Gold Coast’s hippest new hotel as the Glitter Strip prepares to host Australian television’s night of nights.

How to vote for your TV favourites

THE short list of nominees for the 2018 TV Week Logie Awards will be announced on Sunday, and then voting to elect the winners will begin in earnest in June for the showcase event.

SHAUN MICALLEF’S MAD AS HELL 8.30pm, ABC comedy It’s time for the Mad As Hell crew to pack up the box of irreverent dress-ups and file away the unflattering photos of politicians for another year. Tonight marks the final news bulletins for host Shaun Micallef (pictured) in season eight of the parody news show. Wednesday nights won’t be the same without the revolving door of unhinged “guests” (played with gutso by the talented cast including Roz Hammond and Francis Gleenslade) and acerbic send-ups of fellow ABC programs.
