Jackie O hits back at claim she drank alcohol at the Logies

Jackie made headlines recently when she revealed she had given up alcohol, but the star was accused of breaking her booze ban at the Logies.

Jackie O has set the record straight after being accused of breaking her booze ban at Sunday night’s Logies.

The KIIS FM radio star announced back in April that she had given up alcohol, a move that she said helped her transform her figure.

“Five months ago I was 18kg heavier and I had zero energy,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “My health was suffering as a result, so I decided to do a complete lifestyle change.

“I incorporated daily exercise, eating well and I gave up alcohol (if you can believe!!) and I’ve never felt as good as I do now.”

But on Monday morning, a listener called into The Kyle and Jackie O Show and said he had “a bone with pick with Jackie,” accusing the host of consuming alcohol during a red carpet interview with news.com.au (which you can watch below).

Kyle Sandilands played the audio of the red carpet interview on KIIS FM and said to his co-host: “you drank?”

“No, I didn’t!” Jackie replied.

“But I’m watching,” Kyle said.

“No, he (news.com.au’s Andrew Bucklow) gave me one (shot glass) with water in it,” Jackie explained.

“He knows that I don’t drink and he said, ‘don’t worry, it’s just water.’ I think the others got vodka but he knew that I would never obviously take that shot.”

Despite not touching a drop at the Logies, Jackie O still managed to pull an all-nighter.

She left the afterparty at 4am and went straight to the KIIS FM studios to host her breakfast show with Kyle.

“It was so much fun, it was the best!” Jackie O said on air. “I’ve been dancing all night.”
