Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has been looking stellar recently after undergoing a health and lifestyle overhaul, but she really pulled out the stops tonight at the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards.
The radio personality arrived on the red carpet at The Star in Sydney looking as ruby as the rug in her strapless Effie Katsaounis dress.
The 48-year-old let her floor-length gown be the hero of her look by keeping her accessories to a minimum.
But her understated pieces were still designer all the way – her earrings were Vintage YSL and her little black bag was from Salvatore Ferragamo. She also wore a pair of cherry patent Billini x Rozalia Russian heels.
Henderson’s head-turning appearance comes just months after she completely changed her way of life. The mum of one joined WW (formerly Weight Watchers) and ditched her usual fast-food diet for a more healthier approach.
She has also become more active and thus shed an impressive 18kg since she embarked on her overhaul last November.
Henderson walked the Logies red carpet alone without her usual sidekick, radio co-host Kyle Sandilands.
The shock jock was to present Most Outstanding Children’s Program alongside his 11-month-old son Otto, but he changed his mind due to the ceremony running late in the evening.
“I’ve been asked to present something, but I’ve had to pull the pin,” he said on Friday on their program, The Kyle & Jackie O Show. “I’ve told them to shove it in their a**e, my exact words yesterday.”
“My thing was, I had to bring my child out, he’s not even one, and it was supposed to be at ten past eight, but they can’t guarantee it won’t be before 9pm. I said, ‘I’ve got a baby, I can’t be [waiting around] with a baby.’”
Sandilands said his wife, Tegan, agreed with his last-minute decision to back out.
“My wife said, ‘What does [Otto] get out of it? He’s just a bit of arm candy for you to get on TV.’ And I couldn’t agree against it so I told them I’m not going.”
