Emmy nominations 2024: Full list of nominees

There have been some unexpected inclusions – and exclusions – as the full list of Emmy Award nominees was announced in Hollywood.

All the highlights from this year’s Emmy Awards ceremony

The nominees for the next annual Emmy Awards have been unveiled in Hollywood.

Previous Emmy winners Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale, and TV Academy chair Cris Abrego made the announcements from Disney’s El Capitan Theatre in a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, LA time.

As was widely expected, Shogun lead the pack of nominations with 25 nods, including Best Drama Series, with other top contenders including The Bear (23), Only Murders in the Building (21), True Detective: Night Country (19) and The Crown (18).

The long-overlooked Reservation Dogs also gained recognition, scoring four nominations for its third and final season, including in the Best Actor category for D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.

On the flip side, Kelsey Grammer was one of the high-profile snubs, with his return as Dr Frasier Crane late last year being overlooked despite his six previous Emmy wins during Frasier’s original run.

Also left out was two-time Oscar winner Emma Stone, whose hilarious performance in The Curse failed to land her a nomination.

Meanwhile, Apple TV+’s blockbuster WW11 epic, the Austin Butler-led Masters of the Air, missed out on attracting even a single nod.
