Emmy Awards 2024 ceremony highlights: Best speeches, jokes and more
This year’s Emmys saw a big Aussie win and TV host John Oliver turning on the show’s producers during his acceptance speech.
The 2024 Emmy Awards were today held in Los Angeles, with father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy serving as hosts.
Acclaimed shows Shogun, Baby Reindeer, The Bear and Hacks were the main winners during the ceremony, with each show picking up multiple awards.
And one of the two Aussies nominated for awards was a winner: Elizabeth Debicki took out outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her work as Princess Diana in the final season of The Crown (Naomi Watts wasn’t so lucky, losing out to Jodie Foster in her category).
The Emmys are available to watch locally on Binge and Foxtel. You can also check out all the best looks of the day in our red carpet round-up, and so who won what in our full list of Emmy winners.
