GOLD Coast singer and songwriter Amy Shark will end her new Love Monster Australian tour on a high with a hometown show at NightQuarter in September.

The APRA and ARIA Award winning Adore singer will hit the road for her biggest headline tour yet to show off songs from her debut album, Love Monster, due for release on July 13.

The tour will open in Adelaide on August 24 with stops in Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before the finale at NightQuarter, at Helensvale, on September 8.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am, with a pre-sale via www.amyshark.com on Thursday from 9am.

Shark, who has already played sold-out shows everywhere from Germany and London to New York, Los Angeles and Seattle this year on her US and European tours, said she was excited to return home to share songs from her album with fans.

“It’s been a dream to write and record a full length debut album,” she said.

“I am incredibly proud of Love Monster and I am extremely excited to play these new songs live as well as some favourites from my Night Thinker EP.

“This is going to be very special time in my life.”

The tour news comes as Shark released a new video today for her latest single, I Said Hi, which currently sits at #1 on iTunes, #2 on the Shazam Top 100 AU chart and #2 on the airplay charts.

The single also climbed six places to No. 28 on this week’s ARIA singles chart this week,

Shark co-directed the I Said Hi clip with 2018 Directors Guild Award winner Nick Waterman.

“I’ve always been very heavily involved and have always codirected my videos,” she said.

“I really loved working with Nick on I Said Hi and think we really stepped it up to the next level.”
