Fraser Coast NAPLAN results revealed: Every primary school ranked best to worst
The gap between Fraser Coast's best and worst performing primary schools has reached a staggering 105.6 points in the latest NAPLAN results.
The results of the 2025 Year 5 NAPLAN results have been revealed showing the best and worst performing schools for primary education on the Fraser Coast.
Year 5 cohorts were tested on their reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy skills, with the Fraser Coast Anglican College coming out on top with an average of 499.2.
The college climbed the ranks after coming fourth last year for their primary school results.
St Mary’s Primary School took out the top spot in 2024 and this year ranked seventh.
Second this year went to Star of the Sea Catholic School in Torquay with an average of 496.8.
To determine how each school performed in 2025, the scores for all five test subjects for the year 5 cohort were combined and the average found.
Based on these averages, writing was the lowest scoring area on the Fraser Coast while reading was the highest performing area with an average of 457.5.
The school with the lowest performing results was Torbanlea State School with an average of 393.6.
