Gladstone’s best NAPLAN schools for 2025 named in new data analysis
The top spots for primary and secondary performance in the Gladstone region’s 2025 NAPLAN can be revealed, with two primary schools tying for first place.
The Gladstone area’s top NAPLAN performing schools for 2025 can be revealed.
Independent analysis of the newly-released 2025 NAPLAN data reveals that both public and private sector schools dominated the top three places in the Year 5 bracket.
The top average scores for the Year 5 bracket was shared between John the Baptist Primary School and Trinity College with both scoring 487.2.
Tannum Sands State School came second with 476.2 while Star of the Seas Catholic Primary School rounded out the top three with 475.4.
Meanwhile in the Year 9 bracket, the top three scoring schools belonged to the private sector.
Faith Baptist Christian School led the way with an average score of 598.2, followed by Discovery Christian College with 569.
The third highest scoring school was Trinity College which scored a 566.2 average.
NAPLAN tests students in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy.
The analysis combined scores from these five areas to find the highest averaging school.
