Olivia Bray was recently named the winner of the Gold Coast Bulletin’s most stylish toddler in the region.

Olivia’s mother Britt Herrod said she was the best thing to ever happen to the family.

“She always keeps herself entertained and is absolutely obsessed with her baby dolls, shoes and anything that is ‘pretty’,” she said.

“She tries to even dress me some days and brings me shoes or dress she has pulled off the hanger.

“She will let me know if she doesn’t like what I have picked her out to wear and will simply yell ‘nup’ while shaking her head and runs off refusing to get dressed.”

Ms Herrod said Olivia was a caring and loving girl with a ‘old soul’.

“She is definitely a girl who knows what she wants and will let you know otherwise,” she said.

Ms Herrod said she had a rough pregnancy during Covid-19 restrictions and struggled not seeing her family in Melbourne.

“My parents and family missed out seeing me pregnant a part from my dad who got out of quarantine the day I went into labour and quickly rushed to the hospital to see my belly.”

Austin Johanson, one, was named as the Gold Coast’s most stylish runner up for his adorable fashion.

Austin’s mother Roxzee Johanson said he was a loving baby who has got a lot of fashion tips from his grandma, Maw Maw.

“She loves to find cute little outfits and hats for him,” she said.

“He loves his hats especially the ones he can get off his head and into his mouth.

“However, a lot of his fashion is definitely down to him.”

The two-year-old has been nominated in the Gold Coast Bulletin’s cutest toddler competition and stood out because of her flair for fashion.

“She loves dressing up and being a little girl,” Danica said.

“I had two boys first, so when Everly came along I used to dress her up in bows and buy cute outfits for her off Instagram.

“So she grew up enjoying dressing up and looking nice.”

Everly’s favourite outfit is her dance costume.

And although she’s only two, this toddler picks out which shoes she wants to wear every day.

“She’s efficient at getting ready in the morning. It probably takes five minutes,” mum said.

“The longest part is brushing her hair, because she has so much of it.”
