“The past couple of days I haven’t been able to get out of bed,” Ms Hembrow said.

“I had a fever, the worst headaches and body aches. I now am just super tired, congested and have a cough.”

As a mother of two with a third on the way, Ms Hembrow said she struggled with separating herself from her children Saskia and Wolf.

“The hardest thing about Covid for me is literally not being able to kiss my kids,” she said.

“I never realised until now how many times a day I kiss my kids.

“I am just trying to not share germs with them but I just want to smother them.”

She said both her children had no symptoms and her pregnancy was not affected by the virus.

“I have been feeling baby girl kicking away in there, she seems as fine as ever,’ Ms Hembrow said.

“Thanks for all the love, the well wishes and big hugs to anyone else who is isolating right now … I feel you.”

“It hurt to even lift a water bottle,” she shared to her 403,000 followers.

While rapid antigen tests were sold out across the Gold Coast and pressure was on PCR testing centres where wait times remained in the hours, her fanbase pulled some strings.

After a call-out for help on her Instagram story, by Sunday afternoon she received a package from one of her followers containing tests and gummy bears.

The note read: “Get well soon and take care in isolation.”

“I have the best followers,” Ms Anderson said.
