Gold Coast Bulletin Covid-19 vaccination mandate survey: How do you feel about Qld’s rules?

This free, anonymous survey is to gauge Gold Coasters’ attitudes to Covid-19 vaccine mandates, who they trust and where they access information about the virus. TAKE THE SURVEY

Queensland has hit its 80 per cent double-dose Covid-19 vaccination milestone – but the Gold Coast is lagging behind.

From December 17, unvaccinated Gold Coasters will be barred from entering venues and public spaces – despite a grassroots “don’t ask, don’t tell” about vaccination status.

Meanwhile an increasing number of businesses will require staff to show proof of vaccination or submit to regular Covid-19 tests, otherwise face the axe.

Unvaccinated doctors, nurses and police have been stood down while schools are facing the prospect of a teacher shortage.

Despite the pressure and protests the state government has held fast with mandates, and come forward saying the rules are unlikely to be wound back.

The Bulletin wants to know your opinion – whether you think vaccine mandates are a fair, just and effective way to protect our community from Covid-19.

The following survey is anonymous and will expire on December 17.
