Haja Timbo, 21, was with Olivia Winnie Muranga, 19, and Diana Lasu in Melbourne, where they hosted a drunken party at their Airbnb property that was shut down by Victorian police.

The trio were spoken to by police about breaching health directives put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus and heavily fined – just two days before allegedly lying to get back into Queensland.

Haja Timbo, 21, has been identified as the third woman who travelled to Melbourne.

The women are alleged to have lied about whether they had travelled to a coronavirus hotspot to get back into Queensland by flying home from Melbourne via Sydney.

The Courier-Mail contacted Ms Timbo, who is quarantined in an inner-city hotel, and offered an opportunity to tell her side of the story.

“No, but half of the things that are in the media aren’t true, so what can you do,” she said.

Ms Timbo declined to correct the record.

“I want everything to be confidential. I don’t want to be in the media or my friends to be in the media,” she said.

Muranga and Lasu have tested positive for coronavirus and are now under police guard in hospital.

A relative of Ms Lasu confirmed family members, who are also confined to a Brisbane hotel, had tested negative to coronavirus but declined to comment further.
