THE hard-partying lifestyle of the chief executive of an elite Sydney investment bank has come under scrutiny following the split from his wife.

Ashe Morgan’s Aston Martin-driving boss Michael Rothner has sold up his $23 million six-bedroom Harbourfront home in Darling Point after his marriage with wife Lisa came to an end.

His new love interest is Eastern Suburbs businesswoman Ziah Lane.

Ms Lane, who last year won the CPA Australia Women in Business major prize after founding eco-friendly company No ­Issues Tissues, exchanged naked photographs with her lover.

“They are close friends but nothing happened between them until after the end of the marriage,” a spokeswoman for Ms Lane said.

It comes as the bank’s financial gatekeeper Hans Borgelt fronted court yesterday to face an AVO application from his estranged wife who claimed he forced her to watch porn so that she could learn to perform daily sex acts on him.

Julianne Borgelt also claimed she was terrified her husband would physically harm her.

Magistrate Michael Barko has dismissed the AVO application and said he was completely satisfied Mr Borgelt presented no risk to his wife.

Mr Rothner has been photographed enjoying the high life at A-list events with celebrities including actor Cate Blanchett, model Tyra Banks and film funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen.

After selling the family’s luxury home, Mr Rothner moved to an oceanfront penthouse in the Pacific at Bondi. His wife and three daughters live in a rented house down the road.

Under Mr Rothner’s stewardship Ashe Morgan has become a major developer.

In 2015 it paid $79 million for Brisbane’s Chinatown mall.

And the CEO with supermodel Tyra Banks.

Last month it unveiled its $150 million investment in Harbour Town on the edge of Melbourne’s Docklands.

“These questions relate to private matters before the courts and I have no comment other than to deny the insinuations in your questions,” he said.
