A GLITTER Strip night-life institution has a revamped a front bar aiming it at a “sop-histicated daytime crowd”.
Shooters on Surfers Paradise party strip Orchid Avenue has added balcony areas to create a tapas lounge opening daily from 10am.
It is called Our House Bar and Tapas and features an intimate lounge bar with wood grain finish, pool table and expansive balconies.
Craft beers plus their own cocktail range will be served alongside share plates, with the Shooters nightclub operating out back as per usual.
Shooters general manager Nathan Sudana said Our House was aiming to tap into the city’s emerging preference for small bars.
“We are thrilled to welcome patrons with our reinvented front bar and brand new balcony providing a relaxed, all-day venue to meet friends for delicious tapas and perhaps a cocktail tower,” he said.
“As Surfers Paradise’s longest-standing nightclub, Shooters is committed to evolving to meet changing lifestyle demands of our customers who no longer want to wait until after-dark to get the good times started.”
The front bar revamp — coming after a former Shooters operating company went into liquidation in 2016 — launches tonight at 9pm.
