Audeara (ASX:AUA) is hitting rapid milestones in the audio tech scene, after securing a follow-up purchase order worth US$917,000 ($1.48m) from one of its big international partners.

This order follows on the heels of the $2.1 million purchase order back in February 2024, reinforcing that Audeara's AUA Technology is picking up some serious steam.

The follow-up order, from Avedis Zildjian, a global leader in the music instruments world, confirms that Audeara’s healthy hearing technology is now being integrated into mass production for the long haul by global players.

The news is huge for Audeara, as the product has now entered its second wave of mass production, validating the traction the company had established in 2024 with the initial order.

It’s also a significant milestone in Audeara’s strategy to expand its technology licensing division, which it said has the capacity to scale across global markets with minimal capital expenditure or sales and marketing costs.

An eye (and ear) for global expansion

Dr James Fielding, CEO and founder of Audeara, said the latest purchase order serves as a strong validation of how Audeara's technology can be successfully integrated into market-leading products alongside global commercial partners.

“With the recent momentum in our order pipeline, Audeara is demonstrating the potential of our AUA Technology division to scale across multiple addressable market segments, in partnership with some of the world’s leading brands,” he said.

Looking ahead, the timing and scale of any further orders will depend on how well the product performs in the market.

However, with strong momentum already building, Audeara said it is focused on using this unique technology to drive long-term growth.

In addition to this order, Audeara is seeing a growing pipeline of international sales and expanding commercial partnerships.

One such partnership is the Clinico Sound Earbuds CS1 in Taiwan, developed in collaboration with Clinico Inc., Taiwan’s largest hearing aid retailer.

Audeara has already received a $570,000 purchase order from Clinico, which will be recognised as revenue in the March 2025 quarter.

The company is rapidly shifting gears, moving from research and development to full-scale commercialisation; and the continued growth of the high-margin AUA Technology division is key to reaching cashflow breakeven and profitability.

“We look forward to converting this market validation into ongoing sales momentum to continue driving high-margin revenue growth from our proprietary technology suite in 2025 and beyond,” said Dr Fielding.

Pushing boundaries

Audeara is all about pushing boundaries in audio tech to improve hearing health.

The company’s flagship product, AUA Technology, focuses on user-friendly hearing solutions.

Audeara's products – including the Audeara Buds and Clinico Sound Earbuds – are designed not just for great sound but for improving hearing health, targeting a wide range of users from everyday consumers to audiology professionals.

In addition to this latest purchase order, Audeara is seeing continued success across the board.

The Clinico Sound Earbuds CS1 purchase in Taiwan, for instance, has opened up major opportunities in Taiwan and China, significantly expanding Audeara's market reach.

Additionally, Audeara launched its first true wireless product, the Audeara Buds, in December 2024. These earbuds have already generated substantial interest across consumer and professional audiology channels.

Financially sound

Audeara’s growth is further evidenced by the recent two-year extension of its contract with the world’s largest audiology retailer, securing a minimum of 2,500 units annually of their A-02 TV Bundles.

And on the financial side, Audeara is performing well.

For Q2 FY25, the company reported $1.13 million in cash receipts, a 70% increase compared to the previous year.

Its year-to-date revenue reached $2.45 million, up 211%, with cash on hand amounting to $1.74 million as of December 2024.
