SMITH SPLURGES ON LUXURY MIAMI PROPERTY
SIMONE Smith, wife of BreakFree travel founder Tony Smith, has popped up as the suggested buyer of a $5.75 million penthouse overlooking the ocean at Miami.
The two-level, four-bedroom penthouse sits above three other apartments in a new five-level Marine Pde building, developed by John and Joshua Thomas.
The Smith family home, fronting the beach in Mermaid Beach’s Heron Ave, was put under contract in May to developer Dean Pask for $25 million.
SUNLAND OFFLOADS COOLY SITE IN $12M DEAL
THE Sunland Group, in selloff mode, appears to have found a buyer for a holding adjoining its Greenmount Beach Resort at Coolangatta.
The near 1200sq m Marine Pde parcel, on the resort’s southern side, looks likely to change hands for around $12 million.
Sunland, which is working on revised plans for its $26 million resort site, paid $6.5 million for the land in 2017 and demolished two blocks of units that occupied it.
