THE restaurant building that formerly housed Hellenika at Nobby Beach has sold for more than $4 million.
The 2235 Gold Coast Highway property sold under the hammer at auction on February 11 following a campaign led by Colliers Gold Coast director-in-charge Steven King.
Mr King declined to comment when contacted by the Bulletin.
The property hosted famed Greek eatery Hellenika for years before it was sold by noted restauranteur Simon Gloftis in November, 2019.
Current tenant is southeast Asian-inspired restaurant Miss Mee, which was opened in mid-2020 by Ayman Muhor and Jenna Hamill.
The property was sold with a five-year lease in place from 2019 to Justin Lane Pty Ltd, which trades as Miss Mee, and returns net annual income of $291,200 plus GST.
The property has a lettable area of 690sq m across two levels.
The seller was Krys (Qld) Pty Ltd.
