A NEW $25-million luxury car showroom built by Gold Coast developer George Mastrocostas will open in Southport this month.
The showroom, on the corner of Ferry Rd and Brolga Ave, was jointly developed with Glen Phillips, the co-founder of listed printing services company CSG Limited. Joint-venture vehicle Ferry Road Investments undertook the development after securing a 15-year lease with Brisbane-based Willims Motor Group which sells a range of luxury marques, including Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini and Lotus.
Willims Motor Group has since been acquired by Autosports Group Limited (ASG), an ASX-listed automotive aggregator capitalising on the growth of the luxury car market.
Mr Mastrocostas said the showroom, which will market Bentley and Maserati, competed with the best in the world.
The 1830sq m facility comprises a fully-contained showroom on the upper ground level and a service area on the lower level.
The design features full-length glass frontage and curved elements that complement the graceful lines of some of the world’s most sought-after vehicles.
