Australian Artisan Bakery, which trades as KCs Bakery, has been making meat pies, sausage rolls and cakes since 1995. The wholesale business has a shopfront at its 6 Depot Court.

The Bulletin visited the business this afternoon to find the gates closed and a locksmith in the process of changing the locks. The Bulletin made repeated attempts to phone the business but calls went unanswered. The business website is also down.

A worker for Australian Artisan Bakery, who did not want to be named, said she visited the factory this morning to find the gates closed.

A local business owner, who wished to remain anonymous, said KCs had supplied them with pies and cakes in the past, but that had stopped.

Company records show Australian Artisan Bakery Pty Ltd was registered in 2017 and is linked to directors Mark Gabites and Daniel Pardy, who together own 95 per cent of the company.
