GOLD Coast instamodel Hannah Polites and husband Grant Small have snapped up a new potential photo backdrop — a waterfront home at Mermaid Waters.
Property records show the couple, who are expecting their second child, paid $1.255 million for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a spiral staircase and ocean access.
It is unclear whether the photogenic family are planning to live in the home, which was advertised for rent at $1050/week a few weeks after the sale settled.
The pair bought the Mermaid house just weeks after selling their stylish Southport home for $718,000.

Those among the insta-star’s 1.3 million followers, may have recognised her precious pooch Mischka posing in one of the listing photos when that home was marketed.
Ms Polites met her paediatrician husband at Gold Coast University Hospital where she was working as a midwife.
She put a hold on her hospital job after her online career as “Mama” and “Pregnant Fitness junkie” took off and she has been quietly amassing fans ever since.
Ms Polites, who is 34 weeks pregnant, celebrated her baby shower last weekend, with guests including fellow fitness influencer Emily Skye, fellow pregnant instagrammer Jamie Allen and Hembrow sister Emilee.

VETERAN property investor Kevin Seymour has sold a Surfers Paradise holiday home he’d owned for 20 years.
Mr Seymour bought the 19th-floor pad in the beachfront La Sabbia building new from developer Ray Efron for $760,500 in 1999.
He settled a sale for $1.5 million for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom single-level unit to John and Judith Patterson on April 4.
RICHARD Duce, who’s made a career out of sourcing land for developers, is going through a black period.
He’s long wanted an apartment in the Zenith building, which neighbours the Soul super-tower on the Surfers Paradise beachfront.
Finally, in January, he succeeded, bagging a two-bedder on the 12th floor for $765,000.
Now, back from running in a half-marathon in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang, he’s in the middle of what he terms a ”black is best” period.
He’s gutted the apartment and is transforming the interior with black relish — enthusiasm, that is, not the condiment.
Everything is going to be black, from the floors to the benchtops, to the appliances, and even to the toilets and the ceiling sprinkler heads.
Black wallpaper, in different textures, is enveloping the interior. A helicopter’s been used to deliver a black spa bath.
All up, the exercise is costing Richard, whose previous bosses have included Norm Rix and Bob Ell, close to $250,000, so obviously his bank account is not in the black.
He drives a yellow Ford Mustang which poses the question — why not a yellow apartment?
THE sleaze, non-citizenship, social media slurs and general shenanigans of the 2019 Federal Election so far are enough to get anyone’s head in a spin.
So we’ll forgive the Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce for getting a bit twisted when they sent out reminders to their ‘meet the candidates’ breakfast next Wednesday.
The smiling headshot next to Moncrieff’s United Australia Party candidate Garry Eiola was flipped on its side, facing the right naturally.
The issue was rectified in a fresh email 15 minutes later.
It’s not too late to register if you want to join the “unscripted and live” breakfast event, aimed at addressing the questions of the local business community.
Mr Eiola will be joined by Moncrieff rivals Angie Bell from the LNP and Sally Spain from the Greens, as well as sitting LNP member for McPherson Karen Andrews.
It’s on from 7am Wednesday at the Hilton — register here.
