Gold Coast’s Ignite Travel Group named one of nation’s fastest-growing companies for 2018

Burgeoning Gold Coast business Ignite Travel Group has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies. Its founder is revealed in the next instalment of the Gold Coast Power 100, out today.

BURGEONING Gold Coast business Ignite Travel Group has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies after expanding 46 per cent in the past year.

The travel marketing group, which employs 187 locals, operates RewardsCorp, My Holiday Centre and Holiday Exclusives businesses.

Ignite Founder Randall Deer said the company had found its niche in curating holidays for customers and striking the right balance with its commercial partnerships.

Mr Deer holds his position as number 39 in the 2018 Gold Coast Power 100, which will be released in full in a gloss magazine in tomorrow’s Bulletin.

Mr Deer said Ignite Travel had a 35 per cent repeat customer rate.

“Our innovative, strategic and unique distribution enables us to explore avenues not available to other travel operators,” he said.

“We take our tourism partners places they can’t go on their own and we consistently deliver customers an experience and value they can’t get anywhere else.

“My Fiji destination turns 10 this year and it’s amazing to see just how far our very first brand has come since its launch.”

Luxury holidays are big business.

Ignite Travel ranked 14th in IBISWorld’s Top 25 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Australia after another impressive year in its relatively short history.

In 2018 the group signed new partnerships with 7travel, Flybuys Travel and RACQ, adding to its existing partnership with Flight Centre Travel Group.

Other local companies ranked among the fastest growing were Crick Auto Group and Grand Motors Group.
