FAST-growing workwear retailer Totally Workwear Gold Coast is set to open a fifth Gold Coast store after taking out a five-year lease at a high-profile Burleigh Heads site.
Carson Holdings Pty Ltd, which trades as Totally Workwear Gold Coast, has leased the 540sq m premises at 20 Kortum Drive from Hutchings O’Brien Pty Ltd, linked to Burleigh Heads resident Matthew O’Brien.
The site, which fronts busy Reedy Creek Rd, was previously home to Ray’s Camping.
Carson Holdings has taken a five-year lease at $300sq m per year with an option to extend the lease for a further five years.
Totally Workwear Gold Coast, headed up by Carey and Jason DeBoer, intends to open the new store next month and is already fitting out the premises.
TWW Gold Coast already has stores at Tweed Heads, Nerang, Ashmore and Oxenford.
Mrs DeBoer, who in 2016 was a winner in the Gold Coast Women in Business Awards, said the region’s economic future looks bright.

“We chose Burleigh for our fifth store because of the high-profile site and the demographics really fit our business model,’’ Mrs De Boer said. “The site is in a major industrial area, so there are many tradespeople in the area, and Burleigh is also a hotspot for both the hospitality and security sectors, both of which we service.
“We have only just signed the lease but I am extremely optimistic that our Burleigh store could quickly become our best performing outlet.”
TWW’s clients include many of the Gold Coast’s largest organisations and businesses.
TWW has also produced clothing for entertainment companies including set uniforms for I Am A Celebrity, Get me Out of Here and set uniforms for several movies produced on the Gold Coast.
