THE cute, cuddly and curious animals in Gold Coast national parks and wildlife attractions are ready for visitors.

With Annastacia Palaszczuk announcing restrictions to ease from noon Friday, the State Government is encouraging visitors to enjoy Queensland’s beautiful national parks and wildlife attractions during the school holidays.

Environment Minister Leeanne Enoch visited Gold Coast’s David Fleay Wildlife Park on Wednesday and said Queensland national parks were spectacular places to visit and promoting them as tourist attractions is part of Queensland’s plan for recovery.

“Over a million people a week explore our protected areas, with many visiting from interstate,” she said.

Member for Gaven Meaghan Scanlon said: “We encourage interstate visitors and locals to enjoy our outdoors, our natural environment and wildlife and reconnect with one another.”
