A NEW VIDEO has revealed the location of two possible spur lines along the Gold Coast light rail’s Broadbeach to Burleigh link.
Less than a day after a major budget leak revealed Stage 3A is set to receive $112 million in federal funding this year, the transformation the trams will bring to the area has been unveiled.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) had released a new video displaying a detailed fly-through of the eight-stop extension which will run from Pacific Fair to central Burleigh Heads.
It reveals the route could provide two western spur lines from the north-sound rail system.
• To Robina via Pacific Ave at Miami.
• To Varsity Lakes along West Burleigh Road.
