Some of the city’s best hotels have new offerings designed exclusively for Gold Coast residents.
And you don’t necessarily have to be a guest in the hotel to take advantage.
Sheraton Mirage director of sales and marketing Nick Clarke said the majority of patrons in the 5-star hotel’s restaurant The Terrace, which opened last week, were not in-house guests.
“We wanted to put together something special, so we’ve got some enhanced staycation packages available,” Mr Clarke said. “And a range of hampers Gold Coast residents can buy and take away.”
The Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa today reopened its doors and has some special staycation packages on offer.
