THREE adjoining houses in Southport are set to be knocked down by a Gold Coast builder to make way for a 10-level apartment building behind the elite St Hilda’s School.
The houses are located on blocks spanning 1959sq m at 18-20 Shillito St and 13-15 Water St recently sold for $2.75 million by Shillito and Water Pty Ltd, associated with South Africa-born Dee Sullivan who is the daughter of disgraced executive Phil Sullivan, the former CEO of City Pacific.
The sale is due to settle next month.
The sites were marketed by Michael Willems, of Ray White Commercial Gold Coast and Matthew Fritzsche, of Ray White Special Projects Qld in an expressions-of-interest campaign.

Mr Willems said the buyer is a “substantial” Gold Coast builder with plans to start work on a new tower after Christmas.
“It’s so hard to get these good locations,” he said.
“It’s a really nice pocket of Southport behind St Hilda’s School. It has nice elevated views – they are going to be phenomenal when it is built.”
The site has been approved for a 10-storey tower with two basement levels and 78 units.
The units are a mixture of 13 one-bedroom, 47 two-bedroom, 14 three-bedroom and four four-bedroom apartments.
