The new rooming house will be created on Southport’s Welch Street, where the existing building will be revamped.

FIRST LOOK AT LUXURY RAZOR-THIN TOWER

The proposal for the former office building has been put forward by its owners, Letch Holdings.

According to documents filed with the council, it will have 17 rooms for students, a manager’s suite, a games room, gym, dining area, kitchen and laundromat.

A single-two bedroom en suite will be on the ground floor while the rest will be on level one.
