The Short St building was constructed in 1991 and the extension would add an extra 326 sqm of space to the ground floor.

A further 300 sqm of office space will be created on the first floor which will be a separate tenancy from the surgery.

The rest of the building will remained unchanged.

The project will go before the council’s planning committee later this year.
