Surfers Paradise: Plans for private adult entertainment and play centre on the Gold Coast

A building has been selected to become home to an adult entertainment and play centre, featuring everything from video games and ball pits to bucking bulls.

A giant ball pit, video games, snooker and a mechanical bucking bull will all be featured in an adult play centre being pitched for the Glitter Strip.

The proposal has been put to council by Darren Sutton who wants to convert a building on Surfers Paradise’s Laycock St into the complex, which will be opening to bucks parties, corporate events and bookings.

The licenced venue would be the first of its kind on the Gold Coast.

“The proposed function facility is a purpose-built adult play area tailored specifically for groups (which will) cater for corporate functions, private events, birthday parties, bucks and hens group as well as sporting groups.

“The venue will only cater for groups and will have a purpose-built booking system that will control the overall numbers within the premises (which) does not support walk-ins at this venue, this is a mechanism that will control and regulate patron numbers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.”
