Fresh photos of Chelsea Becirevic have exposed that every second she’s not living in Bondi is a completely missed opportunity - and I will die on this niche hill.
The 23-year-old has been dubbed “Australia’s hottest WAG”. By whom? I have no idea, but the nickname has stuck, and she is very pretty, so who are we to argue? (No offence to other WAGS, of course).
Anyway, that lady has been seen strutting around Melbourne’s South Yarra with her AFL star boyfriend Ivan Soldo.
According to very quick Google search he is known for his “elite tap work”. No idea what that means, but the photos confirm one big thing.
We need this girl in Bondi, faster than you can say, “How good is the bread at Totties?”
Becirevic was looking stunning as she waltzed around Melbourne in a maroon activewear set that was skin-tight and featured a plunging neckline.
She completed the casual and eye-catching look with some trendy sunglasses, an iced coffee and a tiny designer handbag.
She was also walking her dog, which looks like a cavoodle, because, of course, it would be (designer dogs and designer bags are WAG Culture), alongside her AFL partner.
She looked like every influencer ever doing the Bondi to Coogee walk - the only problem is that she is in the wrong location.
The famous WAG is in Melbourne, the land of chic black outfits and complicated coffee orders, when she desperately needs to be in Bondi, the land of inherited wealth, personal trainers and where nothing is chic but everything is worth putting on Instagram.
I believe in my soul that Becirevic would thrive in Bondi.
Bondi is all about sexy active wear that is impractical and ironically hard to be active in.
It is also the land of aggressive blonde shades of hair and iced drinks that are over $10.
Not to mention it is an oasis for tiny blonde celebrities. Pip Edwards, Lara Bingle and Jackie O are often spotted pottering in Bondi.
Becirevic looks great wherever she is …. but come on, she is the ultimate Bondi girl, she embodies Sydney’s eastern suburbs coolness.
She loves a photo shoot in her swimwear, even when she is at the literal snow.
She loves to post a sexy photo with an ambiguous caption that reads like something you would find in a fortune cookie.
Two of my current favourite Instagram captions are her looking hot in a ball gown with the caption, “wishing it was that time of year again”.
Not to be outdone by her looking gorgeous and tanned in a bikini with the caption “gladly lost at sea”.
This is a woman who needs to live in a suburb where the median house price is over $4 million.
I say this all with love.
I see Becirevic the same way I see a celebrity like Lara Bingle: some people, aka unrelatable divas (I mean that as a compliment), belong in Sydney’s affluent east.
She would thrive in a suburb where people’s cars and children’s private school fees are the same amount as a lot of people’s yearly salaries.
I think deep down she knows it too.
When she relocated to Adelaide in 2024 to be with her partner, she admitted it did not feel right.
“He had to move to Adelaide for his career and tbh, it has been a struggle for me. It is just not for me permanently,” she wrote on Instagram.
She added that “temporarily” Adelaide is fine, but in the long term she saw herself at the Gold Coast, Melbourne, or even Sydney.
She is now a South Yarra girl, which is very fancy, but I swear, the woman would thrive in Bondi.
