THE $470 million Coomera Town Centre is taking shape, with new footage revealing the scope of the city’s next big shopping mecca.
Construction of the centre is on track, with the north’s biggest development set to open by Christmas 2018.
Around 70 per cent of the concrete slabs have now been poured and tiered seating for the cinemas is now completed.
Installation has now begun on precast facades of the cinema, Woolworths and Kmart buildings.
The centre will feature 140 speciality shops, including Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target and a cinema.
The 59,000 sqm site off Foxwell Road will be transformed into a “new benchmark dining, lifestyles and entertainment destination”.
Among its features will be a “bright alfresco dining precinct”, which will be open alongside a fashion retail area.
