Coles opening Pimpama, Southport and Coomera locations in next three weeks
A SUPERMARKET giant is set to open three new locations on the Gold Coast in the next three weeks, with one opening as soon as tomorrow.

THE first of three new Coles supermarkets will open at Pimpama tomorrow.
The Pimpama City Shopping Centre Coles will open its doors to shoppers for the first time tomorrow, offering the new and improved selection supermarket giants have made a commitment to stick to for years, including an on-site bakery, fresh seafood station, fresh seafood selection, health food section and comprehensive deli.
NEW WESTFIELD COOMERA OPENING DATE REVEALED
Cheeses will play a large role in the deli offerings, with dozens of local and imported varieties available.
Following the Pimpama opening will be Southport Park Shopping Centre, which will celebrate its grand opening next Wednesday, 26 September.
This site has been under construction since early this year, taking over the Target which was formerly resided in that spot for 30 years.
Coles at Coomera Town Centre will open October 11 in line with the mammoth Westfield centre opening.

Coles State General Manager Reagan Lauder said the new stores were part of a $40 million investment in the Gold Coast over the past two years, with $16 million going to these three stores alone.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding our footprint on the Gold Coast,” she said.
“With the launch of three Gold Coast stores in just three weeks we’re pleased to invest $16 million and welcome 330 new team member to our stores.

“At the Southport Park store alone we’re employing 90 new staff and bringing another 40 from other stores.
“The Gold Coast is a huge growth area in south east Queensland, and particularly in the northern corridor, and there is a large demand in the area for local supermarkets.”
Southport Park’s grand opening will feature a grazing platter showcasing the deli’s produce, goodie bags for the first 100 customers, cooking demonstrations from special guests and a spin of the prize wheel for anyone who spends more than $50.
The unveiling of Coles is part of a major overhaul of Southport Park, which has been open since 1984.
