Victoria has recorded another 1252 cases of coronavirus and five deaths after the state reached a major vaccine milestone.

The latest figures come after the state reached the milestone of 90 per cent of people older than 12 being fully vaccinated.

Saturday’s numbers are down on Friday’s 1362 new cases and seven deaths.

There are now 299 infected Victorians in hospital, with 42 in active intensive care units and 22 on a ventilator.
