A 63-year-old woman is in a critical condition after allegedly being stabbed in the torso at home by a teenager.

A 19-year-old woman has been charged with the attempted murder of a 63-year-old woman in Queensland.
Police were called to a Beaudesert home at about 1am and discovered the older woman with stab wounds to her torso.
The 63-year-old woman was suffering from internal injuries and was rushed to Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane – more than 60km away from the regional town.
She underwent surgery and remains in a critical condition.
The 19-year-old woman – who is known to the victim – was taken into custody at the scene.
She has been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
