Robert Irwin celebrates birthday with family and rumoured new girlfriend

Rumours are swirling after a very special guest was spotted at Australia Zoo as Robert Irwin celebrated his 19th birthday.

Robert Irwin has celebrated his birthday in the only way you’d expect, with plenty of crocodiles at Australia Zoo.

The now 19-year-old got right into the thick of it, feeding crocodiles and other animals with his mum Terri, in front of an entertained crowd.

However, chins are now wagging after his rumoured girlfriend was spotted in the crowd at the show.

There’s been much speculation over Mr Irwin’s love life in recent months, with he and Scarlett Buckley reportedly now together.

He and Ms Buckley were seen sitting in the stands with his mother Terri placed between them.

The pair have been spotted spending time together in Queensland.

The pair were spotted spending time together in Queensland this week.

The two were seen smiling while on a sunset stroll, picking up takeaway from Grill’d and eating it on a beach with Mr Irwin reportedly spotted pulling Ms Buckley in for a hug as the sun went down.

Ms Buckley is the niece of the late Heath Ledger.

Mr Irwin was presented with a cake in the shape of a camera, an homage to his passion for photography.

Bindi Irwin shared a photo of her brother on her Instagram, saying "Happy Birthday to the taller Irwin sibling and greatest brother in the world."

Sister Bindi was not spotted at the celebrations at Australia Zoo, however she shared a birthday post for her brother on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday to the taller Irwin sibling and greatest brother in the world,” she said.

“I see so much of Dad in everything you do and I know he would be beyond proud of you. We all are.

“Thank you for being such a good uncle to Grace and fantastic brother to me and Chandler.”
